Gladwin High School basketball raises funds to fight cancer

Farm Bureau Insurance Agent Duane Simpkins donated the commemorative jerseys worn by Gladwin’s basketball teams during the Coaches Vs. Cancer games last week and he was thanked pregame by Brody and Ben Verellen.

GLADWIN
Gladwin High School hosted its annual Coaches Vs. Cancer boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball games last week. The program is a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
The Flying G’s wore special commemorative jerseys bearing the name of a friend or family member who had been affected by cancer.
