Council opts to “use it” when it comes to grant

    With a hard deadline approaching, the Gladwin City Council found itself in a “use it or lose it” situation with a FEMA grant to renovate City Hall.

    “We need to make a decision quickly,” said Interim City Administrator Kimberly Hines. “The grant has to be expended by Dec. 31, and if we don’t get moving, we won’t be able to complete it by then.”
