Gladwin Visual Arts Teacher Amber Billman received a Mayoral Proclamation from Sarah Kile with Superintendent Chuck Frisbie on hand for the ceremony Wednesday in a school bedecked with art.

Fine Arts Week at Gladwin High School began May 1 with the Creative Reflections Art Show, which decked the school’s halls with various examples of art created by the students, continued the next day with “On with the Show,” a musical celebration of stage, screen and spectacle performed by the Gladwin Area Community Band and finished last Tuesday with the annual Empty Bowls event.
