All-State gridder Corlew preparing for the next level
Gladwin’s Donald “Trace” Corlew III finds some running room during last fall’s loss at Frankenmuth in the Division 5 regional finals. The First Team All-State honoree will continue his football career at SVSU.

The player Gladwin football coach Marc Jarstfer calls “a human highlight reel” played his final high school football game in November when the Flying G’s lost 35-0 at Frankenmuth in the Division 5 regional finals.
He had 11 catches for 111 yards that night against an opponent that didn’t lose a game until the state final and devoted its entire defensive game plan to stopping him.
