BEAVERTONPlans are now in place for the 2026 Memorial Day commemoration on Monday, May 25. As usual, there will be a parade in Beaverton. Lineup is at 1:30 p.m. at the municipal parking lot near the Community Center.
Clare-Gladwin CTE Education Occupation students were recognized at the Student Excellence Awards, held at the the new CTE conference room on the Mangus campus. Students received honors in categories such as Above & Beyond, Most Improved, Outstanding, and Work-Based Learning.

GLADWIN COUNTYThe Big Boys Club of Gladwin County is looking for new members.They are a non-profit (501c3) group of men and women that raise funds to assist residents and organizations within the county.Meetings are held at the Secord Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4121 on Tuesdays at 4 p.m.
Gladwin County American Legion Post 171 and the Gladwin County Office of Veterans Affairs provided a Memorial Day parade and program in downtown Gladwin in 2024.

GLADWINThe Memorial Day Parade will assemble at 10 a.m. at the corner of East Cedar (M-61) and South State Street. The parade will march to the courthouse, leaving the assembly area at approximately 10:35 a.m.The program at the courthouse will begin at 11 a.m.
