BILLINGS TOWNSHIPThere will be a Trunk or Treat event at Billings Township Community Park, 4404 Wieman Road, on Saturday, October 19, from 5:307 p.m. “Trunkers” will line up at 4:30 p.m. and the treating starts at 5:30 p.m.

Bra-La-La Fundraiser slated for October 24

Duck race to support child abuse prevention

GLADWINOn Saturday, October 19, 12 p.m., at River Walk Place, there will be a duck race down the Cedar River.Proceeds from the event will go to support child abuse prevention and intervention services in Clare, Gladwin, and Missaukee counties. Ducks must be in the race bucket by 11:30 a.m.

MMCAA to host pumpkin decorating

GLADWIN COUNTYMid Michigan Community Action Agency will be hosting two The Great Pumpkin Decorating events, one in Gladwin and one in Beaverton.Both events are slated for Friday, October 18. The Gladwin decorating will take place at Mid Michigan Community Action Agency, 1302 Chatterton St.
