Freedom Fest concerts set for July 25 and Aug. 29

Northwood University invites the community to its campus this summer for two Freedom Fest concerts at the John and Marjorie Hohman Amphitheater in Midland. In addition to an evening of great music, each concert will feature games for the whole family, food trucks, and non-alcoholic beverages.

GLADWIN If you’ve been through the Gladwin District Library in the past year, there is a good chance that you met their latest team member, Izzy. Izzy has been coming into the Gladwin Library regularly for over 10 months.

Iwas enjoying another nap in my, “Comfy Chair”, when something started tickling my nose. It also began swirling around up in my sinuses. The scent reminded me of something like a cupcake or a twinkie, my groggy mind wrapped around it, and I identified it as vanilla!

GLADWIN For a small town, the idea of winning a State Championship title is often a dream. But dreams do come true for the community of Gladwin. This year, Gladwin exceeded the dream and brought home not one, but two state championship trophies in two different sports.
