BEAVERTON The wrestling family finished up their regular season this week by traveling to Beaverton for the conference finals. The Flying G’s went into the tournament in second place, just behind Clare, the conference champions a season ago.

Excitement ran through my veins with every shot of the puck, pumping the blood with every rush to the net the Gladwin Gladiators made. There were many adrenalin-rushing moments in the Gladiators victory over the Lakeshore Jr. Lumberjacks on Sunday.

GLADWIN The Beaverton Beavers and Harrison Hornets faced off at the Meadow Lanes of Gladwin bowling alley last Wednesday. Harrison loss to the Beavers in both the girls and boys competition. The final score for the girls was 27-3 while the boys finished with by a score of 21-9.
