Gladwin girls participated in the Under the Lights Invitational, night time cross country meet in St. Johns Friday night, August 18. The girls team did well with taking ninth out of 18 schools participating at the 11th annual event in St Johns. Coach Bob Sackrider, St. Johns Cross Country coach started this event as one of the first meets of the season available to local cross country runners. Gladwin’s Abby Robinson took sixth place out of the 175 runners with a time of 20:26.9.

Gladwin boys were showered in cheers
The Gladwin High School Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams held their annual camp at Lost Arrow Resort, Gladwin, Michigan, on the Middle Branch Tittabawassee River. The team, with a roster of 34 athletes and coaches, gathered for four days to get back in the running routine and build team spirit. The boys team is pre-season ranked at 12th in Division 2 for Michigan. The girls are ranked at seventh in their conference.
