Linwood American Legion Post 239 Baseball Team finished second in the 2023 Great Lakes Bay Classic Ultimate Strike Zone Tournament. Post 239 finished three in games against Detroit Prospects – Rice, Michigan Select, Utility Travel, Saginaw Sugar Beets.

Jeremy Lender of Lapeer aced the eighth hole “The Knob”, while golfing with his cousins from Gladwin, at Devil’s Knob on June 26, 2023. Jeremy used his 9 iron and an orange Nitro ball he had borrowed from the group in front of them to accomplish this feat.

GLADWIN COUNTY Linwood American Legion Post 239 Baseball Team finished second in the 19th Annual Ultimate Strike Zone Tournament. Post 239 finished 3-1 in games against Palacios Tailors, Midland Berryhill, Means Stamping, Saginaw Sugar Beets.
