The first Cross Country Meet of the season was held this past Friday, August 18, at St. Johns High School. According to the Michigan High School Athletic Association rules, the event was held on the first competition Friday of the cross country season. It was also a first for Beaverton and Gladwin High School’s Cross Country Teams as the meet was held at night under the lights.
