GLADWIN On Monday, March 27 around 9 p.m., Gladwin City Police responded to a break in at the Thomas J. McDonald dental office at 135 S. Bowery Ave. The responding officer was able to open a rear door to the office without inputing a code on the handle.

GBCFD slated for April 15 at Christ the King

GLADWIN On Saturday, March 18, in the parking lot of Christ the King Lutheran Church, there was another Gladwin/Beaverton Community Food Distribution (GBCFD) where almost 25,000 lbs. of food from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan was passed out to 230 households and 572 household members.

Piper’s Pub is under new ownership

As of March 7, Piper’s Pub in downtown Gladwin is under new ownership. Laura Mc-Donald and her husband Randy talked about future plans for the bar while also remaining familiar to its regulars.
