Members of the Sugar Springs Stitchers and Quilters gathered on October 16 to make outerwear to donate to Christmas Kindness 2024. Items made were 59 hat/scarf combos (118 separate items), 16 knit hats, 39 scarves, 25 hats and 10 muffs for a total of 208 items were finished within a few hours.

DEAR PAW’S CORNER: My next-door neighbor puts out food for all of the outdoor cats in the area. That includes a lot of strays who are now mingling with the cats who have homes. She even buys specialty cat food if she thinks they don’t like what she’s offering.
