As I settled into my “Comfy Chair” for a well-deserved afternoon nap, I reflected upon my very successful day! First, I woke up at 6 a.m., feeling groggy from eating some leftover Halloween candy the night before.

DEAR DR. ROACH: I had all the symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) when I was younger. I could go six months without having my period. I had all the other symptoms, too, like oily skin and facial hair. It’s a terrible thing for a young teenage girl.

BES to honor veterans November 8

BEAVERTONBeaverton Elementary School will be holding an assembly on Friday, November 8, at 1 p.m., to honor veterans and service members. Students will greet attendees at the south entrance. There will also be a light reception from 1212:45 p.m. Visiting veterans can be in uniform if they choose.
