ST. LOUISThe Gladwin Junior High School boys’ track team swept dual meets from host St. Louis 103-33 and Shepherd 72-65 last Tuesday.Garrison Farley won the 55 hurdles and took the 200 hurdles with Parker Grove second and Nate Bowen third.

SANFORDDodging raindrops all last week left the Beaverton softball team with only one outing and it did not go well.The Beavers lost both ends of a doubleheader at Meridian on Tuesday and neither game was close.“It was a tough night all around,” said Beaverton coach Aaron Wentworth.

GLADWINThe 9 a.m. Wednesday morning “Fellas” golf league at Lakeside Golf Course is welcoming new players. This is a great nine hole league with fun days, outings and no need to make up a round if you miss a week – just show up when you can play.It will run April 29 through Sept. 9, 2026.
