WATERFORDAweekend road trip to Waterford Mott led to some bonding and a pair of victories for the Beaverton softball team.“Overall, it was a good weekend,” said Beavers coach Aaron Wentworth. “The girls had fun getting away and playing at a firstclass facility.

GLADWINSplits were it for the Gladwin baseball team in three doubleheaders.On Friday, the Flying G’s beat Remus Chippewa Hills 9-4 in the first game.Karter Phillips got the win, allowing seven hits and two earned runs in six innings of work. He rang up 10 strikeouts.
