PINCONNINGEven though the Gladwin soccer team lost both of its games last week, there were signs of better things to come.“We’ll get there,” said Flying G’s coach Dominic Lake. “We put together one good half in both games and, once we put a whole game together, we’ll be fine.

GLADWINGrinding through a rough early-season schedule paid off last Wednesday night when the Gladwin volleyball team opened the Jack Pine Conference campaign with a 25-14, 25-16, 25-15 sweep of visiting Farwell.“Things went very well for us overall,” said Flying G’s coach Tony Wetmore.
