LANSING If you’ve been thinking about signing up for this year’s Bob Ross-inspired Happy Little (Virtual) 5K, now is the time. Registration for this state parks-supporting race closes March 1. April 22-29, walk, run or roll for this year’s Run for the Trees / Happy Little (Virtual) 5K.

GLADWIN Residents of both Gladwin and Beaverton communities gathered in the gymnasium of the Gladwin High School on Saturday night for the annual Lions versus Crime stoppers basketball game. The Lions roared into Gladwin, defeating the Gladwin County Crime Stoppers by a score of 50-41.

Gladwin 2023 Hall of Fame inductees

GLADWIN Gladwin hosted their 22nd Hall of Fame Ceremony on Friday night, taking place between the JV boys and varsity boys basketball games. Kenny Owens and coach Mike Bailey joined 44 other members in Gladwin’s honorable Hall of Fame club.

Gladwin boys basketball loses to Garber, bounces back to defeat Harrison

GLADWIN Atale of two halves. The Gladwin Flying G’s varsity boys basketball team kept pace with the visiting Essexville Garber Dukes in the first two quarters of last Wednesday’s game but collapsed in the final half, in a battle of two 10-6 teams. The final score was Essexville 61, Gladwin 35.
