Gladwin girls split pair of games

GLADWINThe improvement continued last week for the Gladwin girls’ basketball team, which split a pair of home games.On Wednesday, the Flying G’s got off to a 12-3 lead in the first quarter and rolled to a 48-16 victory over Carson City Crystal.

Gladwin bowlers win team regional titles

Hockey team bounced in playoff opener

TAWASThe season came to an abrupt halt Friday night for the Gladwin hockey team.The Flying G’s fell behind the FNV Griffins 2-0 in the first period of their Division 3 regional semifinal and never recovered in a 5-4 loss that knocked them out of the playoffs.
