The Flying G’s Girls Junior Varsity (JV) Volleyball Team traveled to Tawas Thursday, Aug. 17 for a tri with Standish and Tawas.
The first game was with Standish. Chloe Mausolf served 10 in a row to start out. She also served 10 in a row in the second set.

Playing against the Roscommon Bucks, it sure was a tough match but they did not mind.

The Gladwin High School Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams held their annual camp at Lost Arrow Resort, Gladwin, Michigan, on the Middle Branch Tittabawassee River. The team, with a roster of 34 athletes and coaches, gathered for four days to get back in the running routine and build team spirit. The boys team is pre-season ranked at 12th in Division 2 for Michigan. The girls are ranked at seventh in their conference.

The Gladwin High School Cross Country Boys and Girls Teams started practice for the 2023 season on Monday, August 7. This past Wednesday, August 9, the teams and four coaches participated in their start of season camp at Lost Arrow Resort, Gladwin, Michigan.

MFCU raises $12,000 for 2024 scholarship program

Members First Credit Union (MCFU) raised $12,000 at the 25th Annual Swinging for Scholarships Golf Outing on July 25, 2023 at Pohl Cat Golf Course in Mt Pleasant. Proceeds from the golf outing will fund scholarships for students attending college or trade school in 2024.
