Beaverton beat Farwell in JPC game

BEAVERTON On Wednesday, September 13, the Beaverton Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Farwell. The drive was well worth it considering the girls beat the Eagles 3-0. The first set ended with a score of 25-17. Farwell kept the game close, but, in the end, couldn’t beat the Beavers.

MIDLAND Northwood Esports won the 2023 Collegiate Smash Riptide championship in Sandusky, Ohio. Northwood defeated the University of Cincinnati, University of Akron, Purdue University, Oakland University, Notre Dame and Lawrence Tech to get to the grand finals.

GLADWIN On Wednesday, September 13, Gladwin’s JV and Varsity Volleyball teams stayed on their home court and played the Clare Pioneers. The JV team beat Clare in three sets, the first set ending with a close score of 25-22. The second set was also a close game, with a final score of 25-21.

GLADWIN On Friday September 15th the Flying G’s Cross Country (xc) teams traveled to Michigan State University for one of the largest cross country meets in the Midwest. In the Bronze race (D2) the ladies continued their momentum with an 18th place finish out of 30 plus teams.
