Beaverton take first Jack Pine game, 1-0

The Beaverton Varsity Volleyball girls traveled down south to Shepherd after winning against Oscoda last week. They took care of things with a first set of 19-25 before finishing out the night with another three games of 25-20, 25-23, and 25-18.

GLADWIN On Friday the Flying G’s Varsity football played a competitive game against Shepherd High School. It was a loud first quarter with the Gladwin boys making two touchdowns and two successful PATs (point after touchdown).

GLADWIN COUNTY The Gladwin junior high girls cross country team competed in their first race of the season on Thursday, August 31 in Birch Run. Gladwin placed sixth out of 10 schools. Coming in 14th place was Vivian O’Callaghan with a time of 15:24.79; 18th place was Olivia Evans with 15:35.

GLADWIN The Varsity Volleyball team left their home court and went to Pinnconning on Wednesday to play a competitive game. The girls won all three sets with the first game having a score of 25-10. The second set was a close call with a score of 25-21, and the third set ended with a score of 25-14.
