GLADWIN There will be a fundraiser to benefit the Gladwin Post 171 and Linwood Post 239 American Legion baseball teams. The event will take place Saturday, February 3 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 751 M-18, Gladwin.

GLADWIN Friday’s blizzard didn’t do the Gladwin boys’ basketball team any favors. The storm postponed a much-anticipated showdown with rival Beaverton and a chance to make quick amends for a loss at Pinconning last Wednesday that was anything but inspiring.
