Interests discovered at CTE NextGen Summer Camp

CLAREThis year’s CTE NextGen Summer Camp welcomed 162 students from local school districts for three days of hands-on activities and fun. The camp featured a new format, expanding opportunities to students entering grades 3-6 while continuing to offer sessions for students entering grades 7-10.

Bat roost monitoring effort returns for second summer

LANSINGFrom tree cavities and trunks to bridges and barns, bats are settling into a variety of summer roosts across Michigan.

Free family Fun Day scheduled July 3

GLADWINThe Springs Ministries will have a Family Fun Day free outdoor event on July 3, 3-10 p.m., at the Springs Camp located at 1950 N. M-30 in Gladwin. The event will feature food, music and lots of activities.For more information call 989-426-7604.

GAFT’s Fiddler On The Roof starts July 16

GLADWINGladwin Area Friends of the Theatre’s (GAFT) annual summer musical will be Fiddler On The Roof, with shows Thursday, July 16; Friday, July 17; and Saturday, July 18, all at 7 p.m. at the Gladwin High School, with a final matinee performance Sunday, July 19 at 1 p.m.
