Eagle Ridge Church of God, located at 3987 S. M-18 in Beaverton, will have Community Supper every second Monday of the month from 5:30-7 p.m. This free catered meal will have live music. Everyone is invited, no RSVP needed, so bring a friend. No takeout is available.

Gladwin City seeks time capsule contents

GLADWINAtime capsule to be opened in 50 years in conjunction with the 300th birthday of the United States is being compiled in Gladwin.Residents are invited to drop off items to be potentially stored in the capsule at the Gladwin Historical Society, which is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Weakness and more persist in woman after gallbladder removal

DEAR DR. ROACH:I have a friend who had gallstones and ultimately got her gallbladder removed.When they went in, they saw lots of infections, cleaned her out, and put drains in her liver. She’s been feeling awful and weak, and she wants to get a second opinion.
