As I was enjoying a nice nap, I noticed something unusual: I was getting hot! Why? I looked at the temperature on my watch, and it was 94 degrees! I looked at the weekly projections, and they predict we might hit 101 degrees! Summer has officially arrived!Signs of summer!

GLADWIN COUNTYThe Gladwin/Beaverton Community Food Distribution (GBCFD) will be hosting it’s next distribution on July 18, 2026 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 S. M-18, Gladwin.Address verification will be required for all food recipients.The handing out of food, will begin about 10 a.m.
