Chief Killian to retire Aug. 18

Gladwin Chief of Police Eric Killian will retire from his post, effective Aug. 18, after a 31-year career in law enforcement.“I would like to thank the city for giving me this opportunity to serve them and the citizens,” Killian said. “I have thoroughly enjoyed this profession.

GLADWIN COUNTYOn July 22, 2025 the Michigan State Police Marijuana and Tobacco Investigation Section executed search warrants at 3905 and 3925 Woods Road in Gladwin based upon information obtained from Consumers Energy regarding electricity theft and a possible illegal marijuana grow operation.
