    ADetroit-built sailing ship that sank in Lake Michigan during an 1864 storm has been added to the National Register of Historic Places.

    The three-masted Mojave, only one year old at the time, went down in heavy weather while northbound on route from Chicago to Buffalo with a load of grain.
