GLADWIN COUNTYRight to Life of Gladwin County (RTLGC) will sponsor a Focus on Life Benefit for the pro-life public to attend on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, at the Columbus Hall at 751 S. M-18, in Gladwin. At 5:30 p.m., doors will open for this educational and fund-raising event. At 6 p.m.

A time capsule to be opened in 50 years in conjunction with the 300th birthday of the United States is being compiled in Gladwin. Residents are invited to drop off items to be potentially stored in the capsule at the Gladwin Historical Society, which is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The 2024 Bra-La-La event raised money for MyMichigan Medical Center Gladwin Breast Health Fund.

Years or Rusty Years?Iwoke up from an awesome nap in my “Comfy Chair” and realized I have another birthday coming up next month! I heard somewhere that people who have the most birthdays live longer; it makes sense, I guess. As one lives longer, noticeable changes occur in most people.
