January is Radon Action Month, and Central Michigan District Health Department (CMDHD) is using this month to educate our community about the dangers of radon gas. In January, our Environmental Health offices are offering $5 home radon test kits. If you donate a nonperishable food item in January through our “Give a Can & Get a Kit!” event, your home radon test kit is free.
