The Gladwin County Veterans Affairs Office received a donation of $65,790 Saturday during a check presentation at Sugar Springs.
The annual Veterans Appreciation Golf Outing, held last month at Sugar Springs Golf Course, raised a record total of $30,790 and an anonymous donor provided a match of $35,000 to bring the total to by far its largest ever.
