Fish fry event to benefit Gladwin Hospice

GLADWIN AKnights of Columbus Fish Fry event will benefit Hospice of Gladwin Area (HGA) on Friday, April 14 from 4-7 p.m. Meals will include coleslaw, salad, homemade soup or vegetable, baked and fried potatoes, baked or fried fish. Beverage and homemade dessert also included with the meal.

GBCFD slated for April 15 at Christ the King

GLADWIN On Saturday, March 18, in the parking lot of Christ the King Lutheran Church, there was another Gladwin/ Beaverton Community Food Distribution (GBCFD) where almost 25,000 lbs. of food from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan was passed out to 230 households and 572 household members.

MIDLAND On April 5, Congressman John Moolenaar, a member of the House Select Committee on Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party, joined a bipartisan congressional delegation in Simi Valley, California for a meeting with President Tsai Ing-wen of Taiwan.

GLADWIN The Gail Wildfong School of Dance (GWSD) is having an amazing season with their second competition in the books. The studio attended Encore DCS in Howell in March with 12 other dance studios, several from the greater Detroit area.
