GLADWIN COUNTYThe Gladwin County Community Builders (GCCB) are back and will be sponsoring several public forums from the end of February until the end of April 2026. They will be kitchen table conversations.

Blue Water Ramblers featured band at Standish Art Center

STANDISHOn Sunday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m., the Blue Water Ramblers will be center stage for the 2nd Sunday Concert series at the Northeast Art Center in Standish. The art center is located at the corner of Grove Street Road and US-23, 1/2 mile north of the Standish traffic light.

Food distribution at Christ The King

GLADWIN COUNTYThe Gladwin/ Beaverton Community Food Distribution (GBCFD) will be hosting it’s next distribution on Feb. 21, 2026 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 S. M-18, Gladwin.Address verification will be required for all food recipients. The handing out of food, will begin about 10 a.m.

WEEKEND WINTER FUN

Gladwin Gathers at the North Park Winter Wonderland Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5 p.m. During those hours, residents are welcome to take part in sledding and ice skating. Sleds and skates are available to borrow. There is also a fire pit and a warming shed that offers hot cocoa and treats.

Jupiter Family Night at the Delta College Planetarium

BAY CITYHead to the Delta College Planetarium for a special night all about our solar system’s largest planet—Jupiter! This event will be held on Friday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m.

Wandering with the Birds
