Beaverton High School is proud to announce its Top Ten graduates for the Class of 2026, which was determined by a combination of students’ grade-point average and SAT scores. The students will celebrate with their BHS classmates at commencement on May 21.

WASHINGTON D.C.Congressman John Moolenaar invites all high school students from Michigan’s Second Congressional District to enter their artwork in the 2026 Congressional Art Competition.The winning student from the Second District will have his or her art displayed in the U.S.

Joseph Schulz came to Gladwin in 1891 in response to the dire need for a grist mill in Gladwin, that had been widely publicized by the Gladwin County Record. A previous mill had been built by C. C. Foutch at what is now Wiggins Lake, but burned to the ground soon after.
