GHS to present Shrek the Musical

Gladwin High School theater is presenting Shrek The Musical, originally produced on Broadway by DreamWorks.The musical will take place in the Gladwin High School cafetorium and will start at 7 p.m. on April 19 and 20. On April 21 the musical will begin at 3 p.m.

Orvis 50th wedding anniversary held

Jim and Judy (Hayward) Orvis of Gladwin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception, on April 6, at the Sage Township Hall. They were wed on April 6, 1974 in Gladwin.

Vocal cord becomes paralyzed after a cold

DEAR DR. ROACH: My daughter, 45, has had a paralyzed left vocal cord for about a year now. We have been to an ear, nose and throat (ENT) doctor who ran at least a half dozen tests, including several scans. These didn’t show a reason for the problem, and everything else appeared to be normal.

BOY SCOUTS CLEAN UP TRASH

Boy Scout Troop 779 and Cub Scout Pack 3779 spent an hour picking up five bags of trash off the ground around Family Farm and Home in the evening of Monday, April 8.

Food distribution at Christ the King April 20
