Gladwin awarded new trees from ReLeaf Michigan; volunteers needed

GLADWINReLeaf Michigan, a statewide non-profit tree organization, in collaboration with the city of Gladwin, the US Forest Service, and the MDNR Urban and Community Forestry is looking for volunteers to help plant 20 trees at the Gladwin City Park and Campground on Friday, September 20.

Annual Gladwin County Health and Wellness Fair

The annual Gladwin County Health and Wellness Fair took place on Wednesday, August 7 from 3-6 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall.The free event provided backpacks to the first 125 kids from Gladwin County and walking tacos from Triple C Concessions for the first 100 people.

Food Distribution at Christ the King Aug. 17

GLADWINThe Gladwin/Beaverton Community Food Distribution (GBCFD) will continue hosting distributions the third Saturday of each month, with its next distribution on Saturday, August 17 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 S. M-18, Gladwin.
