I’m scared! Even though Jesus says, “Be not afraid.”I am. Why? Recent experiences and happenings have me on edge. Fewer people are attending mass. There is a lack of priestly and religious vocations, not in just the Catholic Church, but in non Catholic Churches, too.

DAR honors Gladwin County Good Citizens

MIDLANDThe John Alden Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) held a Good Citizen Recognition for ten high school seniors recently at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Midland. Two students who received this honor were from Gladwin County.

In September the Gladwin County Record held it’s last Classic Car Show. The Record teamed up with Lambert’s Meat Market, who donated hot dogs, brats, chips, and pop for car show attendees to purchase. All of the donations from the event, totaling $475, is being donated to Christmas Kindness.
