BEAVERTONThe annual Beaverton Christmas Tree Lighting will be on Friday, December 6 at 6 p.m. Also at the event will be the Beaverton High School band, hot chocolate, cookies, and Santa, who will be arriving by fire engine.
BJSHS Students of the Month include Jordyn Schultz, Sophia Moore, Curtis Price, Brady Cross, Alexander Somers, Cecilia “Cece” Coppola, Damian Watters, Wyatt Budry, Danielle Cornell, Eric Sherman, Kynlee Dolan and Willow Jacobs. Not pictured are Zayla Stoike and Dominick Schatten.

Annual Gladwin County Winter Carnival slated

GLADWINThe third annual Gladwin County Winter Carnival will take place on January 17, 2025 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 751 M-18, from 3-6 p.m. The event includes free hats, gloves, and scarves. There will also be a storytime by the Gladwin County District Library from 3:30-3:45 p.m.
