Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund board recommends projects totaling $41.7 million to boost outdoor recreation

LANSINGThe Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Board recommended Wednesday that the Michigan Legislature approve 68 recreation development projects and 17 land acquisitions totaling $41.7 million be funded in 2025.The board this year considered a total of 122 applications seeking over $53.

DEAR PAW’S CORNER: I recently adopted a year-old puppy. “Max” is a friendly, well-socialized dog, and during the trial stay a month ago, my 10-year-old cat, “Nora,” seemed to tolerate him. Well, on the second day that Max was home, he started barking excitedly.
