Rep. Hoadley sets February office hour meeting

LANSINGState Rep. Mike Hoadley, of Au Gres, has announced upcoming office hours events for people in the 99th House District in Arenac, Iosco, Ogemaw, Bay, Clare and Gladwin counties to meet with their state representative during the month of February.

UNIVERSITY CENTERDelta College is hosting workshops to help students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) starting next week and running through August. You do not have to be current or incoming Delta College students to attend. This event is free and open to the public.

The rivalry between Beaverton and Gladwin took to the court last Wednesday when the Flying G’s hosted the Beavers for a 7th grade basketball game and then an 8th grade game. Gladwin’s 7th grade team won 40-6. Liam Pohlman scored nine points and Ivan Christensen had eight.
