Donald and Judy Masselli were married Aug. 20, 1966, in Bay City, MI at First Church of the Nazarene. Don retired from General Dynamics in Sterling Heights and Judy worked for H&R Block in Roseville. They moved to Gladwin in 1991 and are involved in many community events.

In olden days we didn’t have social media that binds people to tribes, we had social events that brought people together as community. The annual Fair Parade – in this case, a street fair in October – probably in 1905. By that time it had become an annual tradition.

GAFT holding auditions for fall comedy

Amy Shreve worship concert Aug. 30

GLADWINAmy Shreve will be hosted by Cornerstone Baptist Church for a concert on Aug. 30 at 10:30 a.m.Amy is a singer, songwriter, and harpist and will be joined by her husband/ producer, Gary Wixtrom, backing her with guitars and mandolin.At age 11 she began mastering the harp.

Cup of Joe free gatherings slated

GLADWIN COUNTYAll U.S. military and veterans are invited to Cup of Joe, a free gathering where veterans can enjoy coffee, treats, share stories, learn about resources, and connect with fellow vets.It will take place on the first Tuesday of every month, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
