GJHS girls compete in two away meets

CLAREThe Gladwin Junior High School girls’ track team was at Clare last Tuesday to take on the Pioneers and Pinconning. The Flying G’s beat Pinconning 114-27, but lost to the host Pioneers 136.5-48.5.Placing first for the Flying G’s were Brooklyn Loso, in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 10.

FARWELLThe high school golf season finally teed off for Gladwin on Thursday and the Flying G’s were still shaking off the rust after a preseason that was short on practice time.The locals shot 189 and finished seventh in a field of 10 teams at Farwell.
