Mitchell Malmo scored a touchdown and had six tackles on defense when the Beaverton junior varsity football team dropped a tough 36-20 battle with Clare Thursday.
Gladwin’s Alanis Povey ran a career best time of 20:43.13 in a meet last Wednesday and went on to finish fourth at the Northern Michigan Meet of Champions Saturday in Cadillac.
