Beaverton’s Cross Country participate in third jamboree

HARRISON The Beaverton Beavers Cross Country teams journeyed to Mid Michigan College in Harrison October 19 for the Jack Pine’s third and final Jamboree of the season. Beaverton senior Taj Spencer finished twelve, among 65 boys, in the Varsity Boys 5K meters race.

Gladwin Junior High Cross Country end season with Regionals in Gaylord

HARRISON The Gladwin junior high and intermediate girls cross country team ran a great race at the spook-tacular third jamboree of the season at Mid Michigan College Wednesday, October 19. The Deadwood Grove haunted forest was set up on sections of our course which made for an interesting race.

Gladwin Volleyball travels to Clare on Wednesday, November 2 about 7:30 p.m. Beaverton Volleyball travels to Houghton Lake on Wednesday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m.
Gladwin Cross Country runners: Abby Robinson, Elijah Christensen, Seth Mead and Caleb Palmreuter have qualified for the State Meet. Also qualifying for the State Meet from the Beaverton Cross Country program is Taj Spencer.
