Charles Steven Breece
Charles Steven Breece, Jr., age 69, of Gladwin, died Wednesday evening, Jan.
28, 2026, at his home. He was born Nov. 17, 1956, in Detroit, son of the late Charles Steven and Lula Mae (Getz) Breece, Sr. Steven grew up in Gladwin and attended Gladwin Schools.
The last 14 years he lived with the Stroup family of Mt. Pleasant.
He had a passion for loud music and fast cars, Ozzy was a favorite of his. Steven enjoyed going to concerts, car shows, Tiger games, and had a passion for Mc-Donald’s French fries.
He is survived by his children: Charles Steven Breece, III; Lucretia (Brian) Goan, and Jason Breece, all of Gladwin; and Jared (Heather) Breece of Freeland. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; a brother, Chris Breece of Wolverine; and caregivers, Jody and Mark.
Funeral services for Steve took place 1 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, from the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street with Pastor John Pohanka officiating.
