May I Walk With You

One of the best Halloween activities that I participated in was the Victory of the Saints prayer service and walk-through at St. Cecilia Cemetery that happened after the mass on October 30. We sang songs, sang the Litany of the Saints, and walked in procession among the graves.

Gladwin Goodfellows fundraise for their annual holiday baskets

Skeels Boys Soccer wins State Championship

GLADWIN COUNTY Skeels Christian School Boys Soccer finished their 2022 regular season with 10 wins, two ties, and only one loss. With skill and determination, the team played hard, many times against larger schools with older and more experienced players.

60TH ANNIVERSARY

GLADWIN Tom and Mickey Hetherington are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Tom married the former Mickey Curtis on November 10, 1962 at the First United Methodist Church, Gladwin officiated by Reverend Ross Tracy.

Artist Guild names Artist of the Month for November

GLADWIN COUNTY As an artist, Jan Oldani loves to share her many talents with friends and family. Jan has been painting for over 50 years, starting with small art projects for her children and family. When she moved to the Beaverton area, Jan began taking lessons and hasn’t stopped since.

Hospice to hold Ringing of the Bells event on Sunday

GLADWIN November is National Hospice month and Ringing of the Bells is a nationwide event. Therefore, Hospice of Gladwin Area will be holding a bell ringing to honor all who have died under hospice care and to pay respect for their families.

Southern gospel concert comes to Gladwin

GLADWIN Wagarville United Methodist Church will be hosting a southern gospel style concert this upcoming Sunday, November 6. Before the concert at 6 p.m., there will be a dinner served at 5 p.m. The concert will feature the Key of Mercy Quartet and Les and Darlene Jenkins.
