GLADWIN COUNTY The Gladwin County Veteran’s Affairs Board has planned an outstanding program for this upcoming Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, at 11 a.m. This will take place at the County War Memorial at the Gladwin County Courthouse.

Bells ring for Hospice memorial service November 5

GLADWIN COUNTY November is National Hospice month. In memory of loved ones, Hospice of Gladwin Area has scheduled its annual Ringing of the Bells. The memorial service will be held at the Gladwin Free Methodist Church located at 1312 N. State Street The service is open to the community.

October 15, 2023 was the 100 year anniversary of the purchase of the Zettel family property at the Gladwin Summer Resorts plat of Pratt Lake. Lot 14, was purchased by Clyde and Helen Zettel for $125 from McClure-Stevens Land Co., October 15,1923.
