Toy Drive in memory of Colston Zieroff

There is a toy drive being put on in memory of Colston Zieroff at Cluttered Closets & Boutique, 123 W. Brown St. in Beaverton. You can drop off donations every week, Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. until December 8.

BYFL end of season recognition held

The Beaverton Youth Football League (BYFL) recognized the efforts of all the youth athletes that completed the 2023 season. The players and families were greeted by Nevin C. Hughs, founder of NEVFIT and motivational speaker, “The growth and longevity of any community begins with the youth.

Sacred Heart Bazaar slated

The Sacred Heart Bazaar will take place on November 17, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and November 18, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Activity Center located at 402 N. Silverleaf Street in Gladwin. A stew luncheon will be on Friday, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with take-outs available.

COA monthly caregiver support group slated to meet

Council on Aging, Gladwin County (COA) will have its monthly caregiver support group on Wednesday, November 15, and December 20, 1:30 p.m. at the Antler Arms High Rise. This confidential support group is for caregivers taking care of a loved one, age 60 or over.

On November 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Gladwin Knights of Columbus Club Hall, 751 S. M-18, Gladwin. The event is free to attend and will have over 20 local vendors and a food truck available. There will also be a Silent Auction Fundraiser with donated items by vendors.

80th annual sausage and sauerkraut supper

The 80th Annual Sausage Sauerkraut Supper will be held November 14 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 331 Clendening Road, Gladwin from 4-7 p.m. with inside and takeout dining available. Inside dining will be buffet style. Cost is $15 for adults, $12 for 12 to 6-yearolds, and 5-year-olds and below free.
