Summer Art Kids Camp Aug. 5-9

Gladwin Artist’s Guild is excited to once again offer a weeklong art camp for kids ages 6-11 at the Gladwin County District Library.Kids will become “Art Explorers” and enjoy creating all sorts of fun projects. From painting to clay and from making bugs to monster pencil toppers.

GCDL hosting Summer Arts and Kids Conservation Camp

The Gladwin County District Library (GCDL) will be hosting two summer kids camps at the Gladwin Branch Library. The first camp will be presented by the Gladwin Area Artist Guild with its Summer Art Camp.

GCD Community Garden welcomes new Lending Library

The Gladwin Conservation District is pleased to announce the addition of a new lending library at the Gladwin Conservation District (GCD) Community Garden, courtesy of the Gladwin County Community Builders.

Celebrating 20 years of the Averill Preserve

Along the Tittabawassee River and the Pere-Marquette Rail Trail lies a 72-acre natural area owned by the Little Forks Conservancy, called the Averill Preserve. Owned and managed by Little Forks since 2004, this year marks the 20th year of the preserve opening to the public.

Annual ORV Fun Fest registration available

The 11th annual Gladwin County Orv Fun Fest is slated for August 17, 2024 at the Gladwin Fairgrounds. The event will include a 70 plus mile ride, food, and prizes. The ride will begin with a parade through Gladwin before heading to the trails.
