65TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Ken and Donna Schwan celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 20. They were married on June 20, 1959. They moved to Ocala, Florida nine years ago, from Gladwin, Michigan, where they lived for 48 years on their farm in Grout Township.

GAFT production of Oklahoma! a success

The Gladwin Area Friends of the Theater (GAFT) presented Rodgers and Hammerstien’s musical, Oklahoma!, from July 18 to July 20 at the Gladwin High School Cafetorium. Director Amy Bushey said, “it’s always sad when a show comes to an end.
