Veterans on the road again

The government is calling on veterans to consider careers in commercial trucking with the creation of the Freedom Haulers initiative, a new effort to help veterans move into civilian driving jobs.

Wandering with the Birds

It was just another Sunday in August when the message on my phone alerted me to a possible rare bird on the west side of the state. A young birder was walking the north breakwall at Holland State Park when he spotted a shorebird working the rocks across the channel on the south breakwall.

GAFT holding auditions for fall comedy
