Winning two games out of three helped the Gladwin softball team place third in the Coleman Classic tournament Saturday.
The Flying G’s came within a run or two of winning the whole thing, as their only loss was a 4-3 nail-biter at the hands of Meridian in the first game.
Alexis Farrow pitched well, but took the loss after giving up just five hits and striking out three batters.
